Giorgio Armani & Kith: Dreams of the Dune Runway Show
Coming SoonGiorgio Armani and Kith present Dreams of the Dune, the third chapter of their collaboration. The new collection continues the dialogue between Giorgio Armani’s sartorial vocabulary and Kith’s contemporary approach to men’s wardrobe. Building on the first two chapters, the collection brings together both brands’ distinct design identities through construction, proportion and material. Giorgio Armani’s deconstructed tailoring and precise approach to volume are reimagined through the Kith lens, creating a complete wardrobe across ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear.
The new collection draws on the stillness and sun-bleached tones of the desert, a setting that shapes its visual identity and chromatic architecture. Black and deep blue gradually transition through dark brown, burnt earth and leather tones before giving way to sand, greige, grey and icy white. This progression from darkness to light is reflected in the fabrics, layering and silhouettes. Bringing this vision to life, Giorgio Armani and Kith debuted the collection with a runway show held at sunset on 9 October in the Agafay Desert, south of Marrakech.
THE COLLECTION
Kith Founder, CEO and Creative Director Ronnie Fieg explored Giorgio Armani’s design vocabulary with a vision for a collection that would reflect the house’s distinctive codes while creating a wardrobe attuned to the desert’s palette and textures. In dialogue with Giorgio Armani, Fieg identified a selection of silhouettes that embodied this sensibility, revisiting their construction, proportions and fabrications through a shared perspective. Paired with newly developed menswear pieces, these styles bring sartorial precision and contemporary functionality together within a unified collection that expresses both brands’ design identities.
Key pieces include a belted shearling jacket, a two-tone lamb leather utility jacket and a blouson in lambskin suede. Outerwear is further explored through shearling blousons and aviator-inspired jackets, produced in exceptionally limited quantities.
Tailoring retains recognisable Giorgio Armani elements, including deconstruction, softened shoulders, relaxed volumes and distinctive neck closures. Wide, fluid trousers accompany the jackets, while cargo styles in virgin wool, cashmere and pure hemp natté introduce a more functional attitude.
The material palette moves between leather and suede, silk, cotton, viscose, virgin wool, cashmere and pure hemp. Cotton twill shirts and technical jersey create lighter layers, while prints inspired by wind-shaped desert dunes translate the movement of the landscape onto the surface of the garments. Knitwear includes a reversible sweater blouson, striped on the inside and solid sand on the outside, a short-sleeved two-button sweater and a belted virgin wool shirt. A cashmere group comprising a collarless blazer and matching trousers further softens the structure of the wardrobe. Graphic tees and embroidered sweatshirts complete the collection with a more immediate expression of the partnership.
Layering is treated as both a technical and compositional device. Scarves, foulards, gloves and hats evoke the functional elegance of desert dress. The idea is one of protection without restriction: generous proportions are controlled through precise construction, while fluid fabrics preserve movement and ease.
Accessories play an integral role in the construction of the wardrobe, translating the collection's material research into leather goods, travel pieces, small accessories and eyewear. Noble materials, artisanal workmanship and a restrained desert palette create continuity across the entire collection.
SPECIAL COLLABORATIONS
Giorgio Armani and Kith give full expression to their shared vision through footwear and headwear capsules developed with ASICS, Diemme and ’47. Each a longstanding Kith collaborator, the three brands enter their first partnerships with Giorgio Armani, bringing further dimension to the collection’s wardrobe.
Giorgio Armani and ASICS collaborate by way of Kith, with the three brands presenting the GEL-MAI 0.1 in two colorways: Quarry, executed in pigskin suede with hairy suede overlays, and Safari, presented in pigskin suede and nubuck. Both models feature Giorgio Armani & Kith co-branding on the lateral side, alternating Kith and ASICS logo treatments on the heel, alternating Fieg and ASICS branding on the tongue, and Dreams of the Dune artwork on the sockliner.
Kith brings its longstanding collaboration with Diemme into its shared vision with Giorgio Armani, with all three brands reimagining classic boot silhouettes that pair the collection’s sartorial sensibility with handcrafted Italian construction designed for desert terrain. Styles include the low-top Ampezzo in tobacco suede, the shearling-lined Stefano in sand suede, the wool and leather New Tirol Wing with brogue detailing, the rugged yet refined Winchester Mid in dark brown nubuck, and the leather and suede Alpini with shearling lining. Each boot is finished with Vibram soles and co-branded emblems, and comes with additional laces and custom packaging.
Lastly, Ronnie Fieg brings his signature headwear partnership with ’47 to the collection, collaborating with Giorgio Armani to reinterpret classic silhouettes in elevated materials. The capsule includes nine styles across three silhouettes—the Franchise LS fitted cap, adjustable Classic cap and SL Hitch cap—crafted from Italian wool, cashmere, lambskin leather and duck canvas. Each cap features an embroidered New York Yankees logo on the front as a nod to Kith’s hometown team, Giorgio Armani embroidery on the right panel, and Ronnie Fieg for ’47 embroidery alongside a metal plate on the left panel. An embossed leather Giorgio Armani & Kith patch finishes the back of each cap.
